The company was incorporated
in Singapore on 21-July-2005 under the name China Energy Pte
Ltd and adopted the present name on 1 November 2006. It got
listed on 21 December 2006 on SGX¡¯s Main Board.
China Energy Limited together with its sole subsidiary,
Jiutai Energy Technology Co Ltd, produces Dimethyl Ether ("DME"),
which the company sells to fuel distributors, chemical
producers and traders in various regions in China . The
group also produces methyl alcohol ("Methanol") which is
used for some of its internal Methanol production as a
feedstock for its DME production. It also sells Methanol to
third party chemical companies. Most of its DME is currently
sold to Liquefied Petroleum Gas ("LPG") distributors, who
blend it with LPG to reduce their average costs, and such
fuel blend is then sold to end-consumers for household and
industrial uses. DME is used as an aerosol propellant and as
an economical blendstock for liquefied petroleum gas
("LPG").
The group¡¯s facilities are currently located in Luozhuang
High and New Technology Industrial Park in Linyi , Shandong
Province in China occupying approximately 205,000 square
metres. In the first half of 2006, it had over 100 DME and
Methanol customers from various provinces in China including
in Shandong , Jiangsu , Guangdong , Anhui and Shanghai .

Key responsibilities :
- Prepare the group's budgets ; consolidate the group¡¯s
financial statements,
and prepare tax-returns
- Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting
requirements and internal
policies & procedures
- Assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of
internal controls
- Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, bankers,
legal advisors
- Lead, train, motivate and manage subsidiaries' finance
teams
- Assist senior management in meeting company's strategic
and financial
objectives
Key requirements
- A qualified account (CPA) with eight years' of working
experience with three
years' in the managerial position
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and corporate
governance
- Hands-on leader with excellent analytical and
interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen
- Effective bilingual ( English & Chinese )
- Willing to travel |
