Our MISSION |

|
|
The Society of Sales and Service Specialists,
Singapore (4S) mission is to provide a mutually
beneficial, supportive and positive learning
environment in which every member, especially
members who are from the Chinese speaking community
would have the opportunity to develop, maintain and
acquire professional and relevant sales, service,
communication, marketing and management skills,
knowledge and attitude; which in turn foster self
confidence, actualization, growth, industry
recognition and so to contribute to the betterment
of sales and service related industries.

society missions are:

To
promote interest and the study in the effective
implementation of sales and service management and
development principles and methods. |

To
promote ethical and professional sales and service
practices; and to maintain professional sales and
services standards in the sales and its related
industries, and so to contribute to the betterment
of our society and community. |

To
develop and maintain an acceptable, relevant code of
conduct and professional sales and services
standards for various sales and its related
industries. |

To
establish and maintain contacts with industries,
educational institutions, commercial organizations,
local authorities and professional bodies with
similar objects, for the interchange of information
on current and future needs in the field of
education for sales management development, and so
to develop such acceptable, relevant and
professional sales procedures and practices. |

To
help in arranging training, discussion, seminars,
study tours for the improvement of sales and
services management techniques to existing sales and
services practitioners or those who are interested
to pursue a career in sales and services and its
related industry and equip them with relevant and
professional sales, service, marketing and
management knowledge, skills and attitude.

develop relevant trainings as to pursue the society's
objectives as stated above, so that members may
attain professional competency as qualified and
certified practitioner in these areas.

About
Our Emblem

|
|
Red symbolizes the qualities
such as passion, caring attitude, equality and warmth that a
sales and service practitioner should possess; while white
symbolizes honesty and integrity.
The Greek cross signifies the
society firm commitments towards promoting ethical and
professional sales and service practices. The 4 corners
represent four life temperament style base on Myers and
Briggs type theory, and hence practitioner should master
effective communication skills.
The lions represent courage,
perseverance and strive for excellence. The book
represents the spirit and commitment of continual and
life-long learning. |
